Kingdom Kid-(Gibbor K’ari)

A story of a child that tells his father he wants to conquer the world. The father says sure, but you must find the strength within yourself – for you are much stronger than you know.

Lyrics: Hey! I think it’s time we show the world my strength, strength stronger then it used to be.  Hey! I think it’s time we gave the world a choice choice that not it used to be. Cuz I’ll be in the rhyme, I”ll take and give what’s mine, but who said that angels need wings? And who said with out wings you can’t fly?

Now I’m stronger than the lions and stronger than the kings, stronger than I used to be and strong is all I’ll be. Yes I’m stronger than the lions, stronger than the kings, stronger than I used to be, Gibbor K’ari.

Now the world is right and things are going fine, the castle I sit up on is higher than cloud nine. I’ve proved that angles don’t need wings, I’ve proved without wings you can fly, you can fly, you can fly.

Now I’m stronger than the lions and stronger than the kings, stronger than I used to be and strong is all I’ll be. Yes I’m stronger than the lions and stronger than the kings, stronger than I used to be and strong is all I’ll be.

But an angel has come and broke my thrown, the world is lost it’s people are alone. I said father won’t you help me I’ve suffered enough? No my dear son, not all fights can be won.  I said no I’ll stay here and fight my own fight, I’ll stay here and fight my own fight.

Now I’m stronger than the lions and stronger than the kings, stronger than I used to be and strong is all I’ll be. (4)

3. Golden Crown

The Golden Crowns refer to the two crowns each Jewish person received when we accepted the Torah at Mt. Sinai by saying, “first we’ll do, and then we’ll hear” – the unconditional commitment on both ends that is at the basis of every deep relationship.

Lyrics: Come my Love, to place where I will find,
Come my Love, where the Garden sets our mind.

On the Horizon where your eyes met mine,
You honor me with your Golden crown.
On the Horizon where your eyes met mine,
You honor me with your Golden Crown.

I am not a prophet nor of prophet’s blood,
still you welcome me, an honest earnings day.
You’ve opened all your inner doors,
that I may walk along with and secur

n the horizon with your eyes in mine
You honor me with your Golden Crown.
On the horizon with your eyes in mine
You honor me with your Golden Crown.

And I have given all I can,
like water is to water, beast is brought to land.
You’ve filled me like I’ve never known,
as if I never stood to fight alone.

On the horizon with your eyes in mine
You honor me with your Golden Crown.
On the horizon with your eyes in mine
You honor me with your Golden Crown.

And when you speak your kindly words,
you lift me up inside into your world,
And h was I the gifted one,
A tree tha plan and grows with no help from the sun.

On the horizon with your eyes in mi,
You honor me with your Golden Crown. (2)
the horizon and our heart is one
You honor me with like your only son.
the horizon and our heart is on
I”ll honor you with this Golden Sound.

5. The Maggid

The Rebbe has a collective soul by which he can know a person better than they can know themselves. Sometimes we travel far and wide in search for ourselves, while the answers lie within.

Jumped inside said wagoner, where can you take me far from here? He said “Two towns in front of us there’s a visitor whom many trust, man of wisdom keen advice the Maggid oh don’t cross him twice, just listen and He’ll brighten up your day.”

Travel where it’s good, travel where you should, travel where you can be found.

Travel where it’s good, travel where you should, please take me to my Rebbeh’s town.

Mr. Mr. wagon driver share a thought, oh wisdom rider, something from this Maggid, something that I never did. “Well towns and trains I've come to cross, just know they’re all not worth the cost, when placed next to our Torah true the Mitzvos that we love and do, acts of goodness and acts of love, fear no one but the One above, and know just know that you’re never alone, and let it yes let it all swing by”.

Travel where it’s good, travel where you should, travel where you can be found.

Travel where it’s good, travel where you should, please take me to my Rebbeh’s town.

Driver driver share with me, how did your wisdom come to be? How are you to know all these secrets of old? Well he smiled and he said it simply put, “I’m the Maggid and Ill teach a man to…

Travel where it’s good, travel where you should, travel where you can be found.

Travel where it’s good, travel where you should, please take me to my Rebbeh’s town (3)

7. The Fisherman (from Vitebsk)

Avremel The Fisherman is a character from the Previous Rebbe’s Memoirs who exemplifies honesty, sincerity, and hard work – principles that lie at the core of all Chassidic teachings.

I work my meal seven days a week.

I feed four fish but the birds they never keep.

But I'll keep on working, no I'll never sleep

If you wait right here, right next to me.

The waves they crash like clockwork under me

The pitter-patter the music of the sea

My nets never empty, my nets never full

If you wait right here, right next to me.

My lips too big to learn from book or song

The river “Dvina” will support my Torah talks

The Friday fish you get for free

But don't try and share your deeds with me

I'm a simple man bringing heaven in.

I'll never worry, you're always in reach

I'm a simple man bringing heaven in.

I'm honest and I trust that you will find

I'll pay back all and seek out all in kind

If I need to go from town to town

If I need to go until you're found

I'll pay back all,

I'll pay back all that's left.

I'll never worry

you're always in reach.

I'm a simple man

I'm bringing heaven in. (3)

I'm a simple servant bringing heaven in.

 8. The Holy One

“Ein Oid Milvado means “There is none else aside for Him”. In everything we do and in every part of our lives we are interacting with HaShem through the interface of the material world.

When I was just a little boy, my mama said go to the store, go to the store and pick me up some potatoes. Well I said to the bagger, no need to be flattered, if it’s money that you want then it’s money you get, but there ain’t nobody but the Holy One.

The Holy One. (4)

So on my way out of town I passed the saloon, and I better act fast cuz it’s Mincha time soon, so I followed my steps forward, foot by foot.

And I said “ Listen here you rowdy bunch, if you’re tall like a tree or short like a stump, there ain’t nobody but the Holy One.

The Holy One. (4)

Well the market goes up and the a market goes down, from the pirate in the ship and the beggar in the town, there ain’t nobody but the Holy One. So pick up your cup it’s time to jump up and you better act fast cuz supplies they don’t last, no there ain’t nobody but the Holy One.

Nyet Nyet Nikavo Krami Boga Adnavo

The Holy One. (4)

When I was just a little boy, my mama said go to the store, go to the store and pick me up some potatoes. Well I said to the bagger, no need to be flattered, if it’s money that you want then it’s money you get, but there ain’t nobody but the Holy One.

11. Shared Hearts

Written for The Libenu Foundation. A organization that works to integrates adults with special needs into the broader Jewish community and allows them to live independently.

Alone, I was casted aside with nothing to hide, only me.

Didn’t fight, only rest while I gave it my best, and walked with a disagree.

So I started off young, I started to run, to places I thought you would find me,

but no you never did find you only did hide, the places I thought I would one day climb. But now we’re, here on the inside, you gave me the tools that would help me climb, higher than my original days, you seen me the best best of my ways.

So you taught me to fly not just getting by, you’ve seen what I can be,

Now I’m out on my own, never alone, like a seed that was once a stone.

So I started to breath, you gave me my needs you gave me the thoughts that I would succeed. You dreamed me your dream of possibilities, you’ve shared your heart with me. You dreamed me your dream of possibilities, you’ve shared your heart with me.

You shared me your dream of possibilities, you’ve shared your heart with me.

So you taught me to fly not just getting by, you’ve seen what I can be,

Now I’m out on my own, never alone, like a seed that was once a stone. (3)

You’ve included me to be the very best that I can be, and nobody can tell me otherwise.

The red is green it’s good to go, I’ve got my whole life to show, and now I know what to utilize.

Now I’m out on my own, never alone, like a seed that was once a stone. (4)

Well you’ve shared your heart with me, and you’ve showed me all the wonder, of possibility.
